At Jorie AI, we believe in giving back to the communities that shape the future of healthcare. Our ongoing partnership with the University of Miami reflects this commitment, as we continue to support healthcare innovation and education. We’re proud to highlight the Jorie Healthcare Partners Biobehavioral Research Laboratory Endowed Fund, a gift that has provided a stable source of funding for research activities, personnel, supplies, and equipment. The endowment also supported future renovations and an expansion of the laboratory’s footprint from 400 to 1,500 square feet. This expansion will help increase the lab’s capacity for cutting-edge research that transforms the healthcare landscape. The inclusion of a generous “endowment accelerator” has ensured immediate access to current-use funds, extending the lab’s impact without delay. Jorie AI’s support has allowed for ongoing advancements in biobehavioral research, positioning the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies as a leader in healthcare innovation.Read the full article here:🔗 https://bit.ly/3TCaIhGJorie Gives Back by fostering growth in education and healthcare, helping to shape the future of health studies and research.#JorieGivesBack #HealthcareInnovation #UMiami

Congratulations to Bettina Husebø S., University of Bergen Senter for alders- og sykehjemsmedisin (SEFAS), Trond Mohn Research Foundation, Bergen kommune,& all involved on the opening of CC.AgeWith great talks from Yale School of Medicine, Harvard Medical School Mentech, Youwell AS & VitalthingsTo get you inspired, here are the urgent needs, with global demand, CC.Age is set to develop solutions for; from Bergen:- Group of older adults increases- Limited resources- Healthy ageing at home- Self-management- Social, mental, physical activities- Digital inclusionDeveloping solutions for growing old healthy is just one of several areas Norway, and the Bergen region, is creating opportunities for huge social and economic value — value that can increase the attraction for international investors, talent and partnerships. Why do we care at Nonspace®? Well, only if you’re unlucky (dead with no family by 60) does this not affect you. For the rest of us it’s a sound investment, as well as one of the largest social challenges, shared globally; a great call to action for our creativity and collaboration.Commercially, the health sector is too often under designed and poorly communicated. One reason for this, that we’ve experienced with our work in this sector, is a limited understanding of potential value, from all sides. The work we have done with dne pharma as is proof that Norwegian medical innovation is scalable for global challenges – that regulations and restrictions are merely creative constraints, not brick walls; needed for real innovation that improves or even saves lives. It’s exciting times and highly motivating to be a part of it, here and now, with Bergen Næringsråd Expert Group, Jeremy McCrohan & the region's brilliant health innovation community 🚀

#Wisconsin has received official designation as a Regional #Technology Hubfrom the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). This designation clears the way for Wisconsin to compete for up to $75 million in #federal investments, and right away Wisconsin will receive a $350,000 grant for strategic development.#Personalizedmedicine—including genomic #innovation, advanced imaging, #bigdata analytics, and #artificialintelligence – will be a major focus of the hub; it will also include a Patient Advisory Group with a goal of improving #medical care and ensuring that real patient needs are steering the hub’s direction.Ongoing collaboration through the hub “enables many of the key stakeholders in this vibrant field to #research, think, and plan collectively instead of working through challenges on their own,” said Aaron Olver, chair of the Wisconsin Biohealth Tech Hub Consortium, which formed for the purpose of enhancing #collaboration and pursuing the federal designation. “By working together, we can speed up innovation, share resources and knowledge, and advance promising treatments to improve patients’ lives.”Article: 'Federal recognition of Wisconsin's biohealth leadership opens door for further development, funding' https://lnkd.in/gWFTia_d via Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation
